St John's Ambulance Cadet Competition

We spent the afternoon of Saturday 18th September at the St John's Ambulance First Aid Cadet National Competition. This was a most impressive display of discipline and professionalism.

Alice Murphy was invited as the Chief Guest and delivered a speech on behalf of the Order of Malta.

There were literally hundreds of First Aid Cadets competing aged between 12-18. The standard of their skills and knowledge was very impressive and their dedication to helping people at the scene of an accident was quite magnificent.

The Order of Malta and the Venerable Order of St John have an exciting future working closely in the field of humanitarian aid in Kenya.
