As the Vice President of the British Association of the Order of Malta we were very pleased to receive her support. Whilst in Kenya she spent time with the Malteser International Health Clinics in Nairobi and also found time to visit the Lamu District Hospital to see first hand the desperate need for help with maternal healthcare in that region.

She had the honour to be invited as the Chief Guest to the St John’s Ambulance national competition, where she met many of the St John’s volunteers and staff. The Order of Malta had a small charity stand at the Christmas Craft Fair in Nairobi.

This was a great opportunity to meet many of the public and tell them about our work here, with particular focus on the Terry Hope Centre and Malteser International.
