The Order of Malta is engaged in constantly improving the livelihood of men, women and children. Our activities in all countries throughout the world are especially centred on the needs of the poor and handicapped people, regardless of race, religion or gender.

We welcome guests to our website and invite them to help us and our relief organisation to make this world a better place, for the benefit of the needy and the poor, the sick and the handicapped.

Award Ceremony

A dinner hosted at the Embassy Residence by H.E. Ambassador Augusto Ruffo di Calabria on the 17th March 2015 was the occasion for an award ceremony at which Reverend Father David John Ayotte, S.J., was granted the CROSS PRO PIIS MERITIS “PRO MERITO MELITENSI” from His Most Eminent Highness the Prince and Grand Master and the Sovereign Council of the Order of Malta.

H.E. the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya, Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo, blessed the cross which was handed to Rev. Fr. David John Ayotte by the Ambassador together with a Diploma.  Fr. Dave, as he likes to be called, thanked the Ambassador and his spouse Princess Tana for the great honour bestowed on him.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy, Dr. Franco De Paoli and Mrs. Marinella De Paoli, the Italian Ambassador, H.E. Mauro Massoni and Mrs. Olga Massoni and the Austrian Ambassador, H.E. Harald Gűnther and Mrs. Ilona Elizabeth Primas Gűnther.
